Frequently Asked Questions
How can I get a library card?
Ask for a library card application at the library circulation desk. It only takes a few minutes! Please bring your drivers license or WI identification card. If it doesn’t contain your current address, present a piece of mail with your current Wisconsin address on it.
Can I get a library card if I live in Minnesota?
Yes. There is an annual fee of $25.00 for out of state library users.
How old do you have to be to get your own library card?
Anyone age 6 and up can have their very own library card.
How can I renew my materials?
You can log into your MORE Library account and renew your materials from your phone or computer, give us a call, or stop in. We’re always happy to help. Keep in mind, not all materials are renewable.
How long can I check things out for?
Generally, books are 3 weeks, whereas DVDs, magazines, and most kits are 1 week. The exception, however, would be the Lucky Day Shelf where books can be borrowed for 1 week and DVDs for 3 days. If you aren’t sure, ask a librarian!
Can I use my Wilberg Memorial Public Library card at another library?
Yes! Your WMPL library card is a MORE library card and can be used at any library in our MORE Consortium.
